Chapter 7: Kathmandu
"The flight to Nepal was the most spectacular of our whole Asian trip. The Himalayan Mountains were incredibly beautiful - sheer faces of rock and snow-covered peaks capped with the golden light of late afternoon."
Craig is on the plane to Nepal when a man comes up to him and says “Sir you must give me the camera” Craig says “No please it has the video of mother Teresa!” The man finely gave up. The plane landed people greeted them “Hello and welcome to Nepal”

When craig was on the plane to Nepal, I thought it was strange how the man kept bugging him for the camera.In my mind I was thinking why "doesn't the man just leave Craig alone it's just a camera".

Like Robi-Ann had said, it was really strange to see when Craig was on the plane to Nepal, how the man kept on asking him for the camera, although all it was, was just a camera.

Once i read the beggining of the chapter "The Flight to Nepal was the most spectacular of our whole Asian trip. The Himalayan Mountains were incredibaly beautiful-sheer faces of rock and snow-covered peaks capped with the golden light of late afternoon" it was a very descriptive chapter and it reminded me of when i went to the U.S and went hiking in the woods of all the beautiful leaves and plants. ReplyDeleteI thought it was really thoughtful that Craig did not want to lose his camera with Mother Threasa on it. I agree with Jenny that this chapter was a very good and descriptive chapter.

Jenny and Robi-Ann I think that maybe they don't wan't people to leak the military secrets. In Chile they didn't want people to take pictures of the marine's ships.

In chapter 7 there is another sad story of a child labourer. A boy's parents sold him to a tea shop and if he broke a glass his master would beat him and call him stupid. When he escaped he had another job in a tea shop. The owner of the tea shop beat him and he got sick, and he was dumped on the street. Luckily CWIN helped him. Kayleigh
